We understand that pets are part of the family so Pet 1 was founded to create innovative products to make life better for your pet and you.

So what did we do?  We looked at the problems with pet doors on the market today and redesigned them to make them more comfortable for pets and easier for you.

The company was founded in 2005 by an experienced team who have been involved in managing successful marketing, distributing, and manufacturing operations for nearly a decade and who have a lifelong passion for pets.  Together we work to provide innovative solutions to other pet owners while providing the highest-quality customer experience.

Our pet products are designed and engineered in our headquarters, in Hayward, California.  The manufacturing operations take place overseas and are closely monitored by our Hong Kong office to ensure the highest production quality.
